Group of sessions about the role of women in science and engineering. IEEE CAS Egypt funds these Sessions. This topic will be delivered via four sessions:

Session #1: New Era in fractional order circuits and systems. By: Dr. Lobna A. Said.

Session #2: Recent trends in antenna technology and applications by: Dr. Ahmed A Ibrahim.

Session #3: Visual prosthesis and vision substitution systems / A case study in Al-Noor and Al-Amal Association for Women. by: Prof. Walid Al-Atabany

Session #4: Challenges facing women in their careers. By: Dr. Irene Samy The Sessions' objectives: Inspire, involve, and engage local and global women from different backgrounds in circuit and system technologies.  Inspire, involve and engage local students, academics, scientists, engineers, and researchers in circuit and systems technologies and promote the values of solving social problems through technical solutions. Catalyze women to pursue a career in engineering through industry collaboration and circuit and system opportunities. Nurture personal network growth and knowledge sharing amongst different parties. Recognize the best innovations to solve social issues faced by women; mentor and provide necessary funding for project development. Inspire and involve local female volunteers in circuit and systems activities and projects to solve local community problems. Promote circuit and systems technology among a passionate community of students, academicians, researchers, scientists, and engineers, Create more technologies under circuits and systems to serve humanity, Introduce roles of the industry to engage more women in courses and systems technology, and Recognize the best social innovation and skill development to solve various technical issues faced by women—Exchange relevant knowledge, expertise, and experience. Please leave questions for the workshop speaker in the comments section. Our moderator will try to ask as many as time allows. There will be a certificate of attendance from Nile University for those who attend the four workshops together.
