Recently, public healthcare systems become one of the most pivotal parts in our daily life. Resulting in an insane increase in Medical data like medical images and patient information. Having huge amount of data requires more computational power for efficient data management. In addition, data security, privacy and trustworthy have to be maintained and guaranteed. Most medical information in the last years aggregated data from a lot of devices, smart chips, tiny sensors and wearable devices. Those devices are connected through the internet, thus called Internet of Things (IoT). These devices and objects are considered components of the health care technology. Unfortunately, health technologies still face aplenty of privacy preserving, trust issues and a lot of other security problems when transferred through networks. In this work, we will present a security and privacy mechanisms and tools dealing with patient medical Data (information, images) given from smart devices and sensors upon internet of healthcare things (IoHT). Presenting some of the future security trends to enhancing the trustworthy and satisfaction level for healthcare ecosystems. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG 2022.
