Why Engineering and Applied Sciences?
The school provides students with enormous knowledge that builds their ability to apply theories, abstraction, design, and implementation to solve real-life problems. The program has a strong lab-based learning emphasis and culminates in capstone projects, to design and implement practical computing systems that meet the scientific, technological, and administrative needs of business and industry in the global economy.
Architecture and Urban Design Program
The Architecture and Urban Design (ARUD) program is a 5-year undergraduate program towards a B.Sc. in Architecture and Urban Design within the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences at Nile University. The program is developed through an EU Commission funded project; IMPAQT ( Integrated Multidisciplinary People-centred Qualification and Training ) which consolidates European and Egyptian expertise to ensure the development and transfer of required knowledge, skills and competences to ARUD graduates.
Civil and Infrastructure Engineering and Management
Civil Engineering is the basis of development and economic growth in societies, as it affects almost all aspects of civilized life. The Civil and Infrastructure Engineering and Management (CIEM) Program offers a unique and modern model that focuses on the growing needs in Egypt and MENA region through the provision of multiple specialties such as design of concrete and steel structures, transport systems engineering and management, water and wastewater engineering and management, and construction engineering and management.
Electronics and Computer Engineering
The field of Electronics and Computer Engineering (ECE) is one of the most rapidly developing fields of engineering. Moreover, almost everything we use and rely on in our everyday lives has an electrical, electronic, and computing component.
The ECE program at Nile University is characterized by its flexibility and comprehensiveness to cope with the rate of technological development by offering a broad base of courses for students.
Industrial Engineering
The Industrial Engineering program focuses on graduating a generation of engineers who are able to design, develop, operate and manage industrial systems and service systems efficiently with the aim of maximizing productivity, reducing costs, and raising the level of quality of production or service provided.
The program is concerned with arming graduates with all modern means and tools and engineering knowledge necessary to keep pace with the development in industrial and service
systems worldwide.
IENG is a credit hour-based program with a total of 160 CH allowing its students to graduate after 4.5 years (9 semesters) of studying.
