AIESEC (Association internationale des étudiants en sciences économiques et commerciales)

AIESEC is the largest not-for-profit youth organization in the world; being present in more than 120 countries, it provides experiences for young people to develop their leadership skills as well as boost their professional skills. AIESEC aims for "Peace and Fulfillment of Humankind's Potential."

AIESEC in English stands for International Association of Students in Economics and Business.

AISEC Club strives to achieve peace and the fulfillment of humankind's potential. It also believes leadership is the fundamental solution, so they activate leadership through practical experience and challenging environments through cross-culture exchange.

Hazem El Sharkawy, founder of AIESEC at Nile University, created a vibrant community providing students with cultural exchange opportunities on campus. Hazem's involvement with AIESEC began during his time at MUST (Must University for Science and Technology), where he witnessed the impact and value that AIESEC brought to its members and the community.

When the idea of establishing AIESEC at Nile University emerged, Hazem saw an opportunity to contribute his expertise and support. The AIESEC MUST team eagerly called upon Hazem's help, and he enthusiastically took the initiative to launch AIESEC NU, with Adham Elghamry serving as his vice president. Drawing upon his experience as a member of AIESEC MUST, Hazem quickly got to work, focusing on recruiting and assembling a dedicated team that would continue the AIESEC journey at Nile University.

With their combined efforts and passion, the AIESEC NU team began to take shape. The commitment and hard work of Hazem and his team soon bore fruit. AIESEC NU's remarkable progress was recognized when they were awarded the prestigious title of "Best Startup Local Committee in Egypt." This served as a testament to the dedication, resilience, and innovative thinking that Hazem and his team brought to AIESEC NU, despite being a newly established branch. But unfortunately, the club unfortunately had to close shortly after due to logistical issues.

After multiple attempts at re-establishing AIESEC, Youssef Mohamed, a dedicated Computer Engineering student, was driven to establish the most successful and sustainable local committee department of AIESEC at Nile University; his main vision was to introduce our university to a leadership movement that will unleash youth potential, create change agents and firing up youth to face our whole global generational challenges and give Nile University students the chance to go through a life-changing journey of cross-cultural understanding, having global internships and discover what is it like to become a member of the world’s largest youth organization.

AIESEC in NU, as a part of AIESEC in Egypt, has achieved significant accomplishments in pursuit of its mission. Its commitment to achieving peace and unlocking humankind's potential is realized through its belief in the transformative power of leadership. Providing practical experiences and challenging cross-cultural exchanges activate leadership skills in individuals.

These efforts have garnered recognition on an international stage, as AIESEC in NU secured two prestigious awards at the "International Presidents Meeting"; their dedication and impact were acknowledged through the AIESEC award and the Excellence award.

These accolades highlight the outstanding work and dedication of AIESEC in NU in fostering leadership development and making a positive impact on a global scale.
