SeaPerch North Africa Competition 2022

The R.E. MARINE team won first place. The champion at SeaPerch North Africa Competition 2022, which was a part of the Alamein Robotics Championship, held on 3-5 March 2022 under the auspices of the Prime Minister and powered by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Misr Elkheir Foundation, and the Academy of Scientific Research & Technology.

The team has been qualified to represent Egypt and North Africa Region at the world championship, which RoboNation organizes. The Championship occurred on June 3-5, 2022, at the University of Maryland, USA. We got third place among the best scoring teams all over the world. The team is sponsored by Misr Elkheir Foundation.

SeaPerch World Championship guides participants through a real-world engineering and design project centered around building an underwater ROV. It estimates that over 250,000 students engage in the program annually through grassroots programs, competitions, and training activities. Since 2011, the SeaPerch program has expanded to reach students in over 35 countries and all 50 U.S. states. SeaPerch World Championship brings together teams worldwide to celebrate their accomplishments and compete against the best.
