The Power of the "PowerHive"
A group of NU freshman students participated with their project "PowerHive" in the International Telecommunication Conference held at the Air Defense College in Alexandria from 18-20 July.
They proposed an energy harvesting system that captures RF ambient energy to be used to power small electronic devices such as sensors. The project is supervised by Dr. Mai Sallam and Eng. Mohamed Magdy from the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences.
