Our Students Omar Ahmed and Ahmed Fawzy Winning 8th Place in the International Seaperch Challenge - Real World Innovation

Nile University is proud to announce that two of its students, Omar Ahmed and Ahmed Fawzy, have achieved a remarkable feat in the field of robotics. The students, who competed with their team "RE.Marine 1" in the 12th annual International Seaperch challenge, held at the University of Maryland, USA, won 8th place among 148 teams from 5 different countries. 

The Seaperch Challenge is a real-world innovation competition that allows students to showcase their skills in building remotely operated vehicles (ROVs) that can navigate underwater. The competition is designed to encourage students to explore their creativity and develop their problem-solving skills, as well as to promote an interest in the field of science and technology. 

The team's success in the competition was made possible with the support of several sponsors, including Misr El Kheir and IEEE SUEZ Region and many sponsors. Their support has been instrumental in enabling the team to participate in the international competition and showcase their skills on a global platform.
