NIMUN Students and Alumni Participate in the World Youth Forum

NIMUN (Nile International Model United Nations) students and alumni participated in this year’s edition of the World Youth Forum. They participated in the United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC) Model in Sharm El Sheikh. Our representatives simulated a near-replica of a UNHRC special session, deliberating the impact of COVID-19 on fundamental human rights among youth worldwide. Live television captured the announcement of a resolution that the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs might submit to U.N. Headquarters in New York. The council received a visit from H.E. President Abdelfattah El-Sisi, who gave a speech about human rights protection in Egypt.
