Nile University’s Participation in the Arab Code Week

Nile University considers active participation in the Arab Programming Week as one of the elements of preference for accepting students for scholarships. As part of Nile University's vision to encourage its talented and outstanding students. Professor Dr. Wael Akl, President of the University, decided that participating in international and regional scientific competitions, like the Arab Code Week and winning one of its awards, are some of the criteria for selecting students who will receive full and partial scholarships at Nile University. In this context, Dr. Ahmed Hassan, Dean of Information Technology and Computer Science School at Nile University, stated that this decision began to be activated during the Arab Code Week, which is organized by the Arab League Educational, Cultural and Scientific Organization (ALECSO), in partnership with the Egyptian National Committee for Science, Education, and Culture, and the activities of that were attended. The events of that week were observed in all Arab countries online via Facebook. This year's target was the participation of one million Arab children from the age of 5 to 18 years (pre-university education).
