Mohamed Ali and Team Triumph in SeaPerch Competition 2024

We are utterly proud of our sophomore Mechatronics Engineering Student,
Mohamed Ali, who participated in the “Seaperch Competition” 2024, held
on the 8th of March 2024 under the supervision of the Prime Minister and
powered by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Misr
Elkheir Foundation, and the Academy of Scientific Research & Technology.
“The SeaPerch Competition” is an innovative underwater robotics program that equips students, educators, and parents with the necessary resources to build an underwater robot.
Mohamed Ali was a mentor and team trainer (Responsible for basic training,
preparation for the national competition, and international competition coaching).
The team achieved first place across Egypt and North Africa, qualifying them to represent North African countries in the global competition. They are the only team from the middle school category to have qualified.
It estimates that over 250,000 students engage in the program annually through grassroots programs, competitions, and training activities. Since 2011, the “SeaPerch” program has expanded to reach students in over 35 countries and all 50 U.S. states.
Our team has been qualified to represent Egypt and North Africa Region at the world championship, which “RoboNation” organizes. The Championship was held at the University of Maryland, USA, from the 31st of May to the 1st of June.
