Dr. Ahmed Soltan has been awarded Application for UK–Egypt Trans-National Education (TNE) Grant 2023-24, for a project titled; Driving Digital Transformation: Collaborative Curriculum Design for Smart IoT Systems in UK-Egypt Transnational Education.

Based on the success above and emerging AI application and digital twins, the project aims to expand the success of this module to benefit students in general engineering and digital engineering at Newcastle, as well as those studying Design at Northumbria University and in Egypt for both undergraduate and MSc teaching. This expansion aligns with the goal of preparing students for the global digital transformation and the growing applications of emerging AI technologies.
