ARUD Students & ARU.DREC Juniors Win Big!

We are thrilled to announce that our talented ARUD students and ARU.DREC
junior architects have secured top honors in the Egyptian Urban Campaign
poster competition at Cairo University. This prestigious competition is part of
the UN-Habitat activities leading up to the World Urban Forum 12, set to take place in Cairo this November. Congratulations to Arch. Esraa Halawa and Arch.
Aya Hany of the ARU.DREC team, who collaborated with Arch. Salma Tarek and
Year 3 student Abdelrahman Elkhashab from Cairo University for winning the
FIRST prize in the RESILIENCE category. Additionally, a special shout-out to
our exceptional Year 3 students Youssef Tarek, Youssef Ismail, Mohamed Tarek,
Omar Mashal, Sara El Sherbiny, and Adham Aboelazm for securing the FIRST
prize in the INCLUSION category. Their innovative designs and commitment to
urban development excellence have truly set a benchmark; well done to all for
this remarkable achievement!
