Dr. Irene Samy Participating in the Panel Discussion "Influence of National and Global Climate Education, Innovation, and Research on The Governmental Policies and Participation in The Green Economy" at COP27
With our continuous efforts to be impactful partners in COP27, Dr. Irene Samy, associate professor in Industrial Engineering and Management program at Nile University, is going to be part of another panel discussion titled “Influence of National and Global Climate Education, Innovation, and Research on The Governmental Policies and Participation in The Green Economy,” which will be held on 17th November, at 9:30 am, at the Blue Zone.
The Panel discussion will be moderated by Dr. Kareem Mahmoud Abdelrahman, Head of Polymers Laboratories and Research Department, SIDPEC, and a research assistant at Nile University; the panel will also include 3 other speakers which are:
- Prof. Sherif Hussein Kandil, Professor of Materials Science at Alexandria University
- Dr. Ahmed Elshazly, Director of the Office of Sponsored Programs and Centers at Heliopolis University for Sustainable Development
- Prof. Melanie Austen, Professor of Ocean and Society Director of Centre for Systems Thinking: Ocean, Land and Society
It’s worth noting that Dr. Irene Samy has participated in many other panel discussions during COP27 and has won the Africa Grows Green Award for her immense efforts and innovative research regarding the environment and the sustainability field.
