Administrative Assistant
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in organizing and managing the Provost’s calendar, scheduling meetings, and coordinating appointments.
- Prepare, proofread, and format correspondence, memos, reports, and presentations in both Arabic and English.
- Maintain and update filing systems, ensuring accessibility and confidentiality of documents.
- Handle incoming calls, emails, and inquiries, redirecting them as appropriate.
- Support the organization of meetings, workshops, and academic events led by the Provost’s Office.
- Assist in preparing agendas, taking minutes, and following up on action items.
- Serve as a point of contact for routine inquiries to the Provost’s Office, ensuring timely and accurate responses.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration between the Provost’s Office and other departments within Nile University.
- Support the preparation and distribution of announcements, newsletters, or updates from the Provost’s Office.
- Monitor office supplies and place orders as needed to maintain efficient office operations.
- Ensure all tasks comply with Nile University’s policies, procedures, and standards of operation.
- Maintain a high level of confidentiality in handling sensitive information related to academic and administrative matters.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in any relevant.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the same field.
- Fluent English Speaker.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- High Communication skills.
- Presentable.
