Biography
Sohaila Mahmoud is a Research Assistant at the Nanoelectronics Integrated Systems Center (NISC) at Nile University. She graduated from the Systems and Biomedical Engineering Department at Cairo University and acquired a strong foundation in biomedical systems, computer vision, embedded systems, and artificial intelligence. Her research interests include embedded systems, AI, computer vision, and biomedical engineering. Currently, she is part of the AI & Embedded Systems track at NISC center, where she applies AI to enhance various research projects, including water quality forecasting, AI-driven power management for operating system scheduling, and detecting cracks and deterioration in cultural heritage structures. She seeks to explore further the applications of AI and embedded systems in biomedical engineering to help improve healthcare technologies.
