Biography

Salma is a chemical Engineer who graduated from Faculty of Engineering, Alexandria University with an overall grade of Excellent with honours and ranked 1st in her Chemical Engineering class. She conducted her master's degree in water resources management with a scholarship from USAID. She is a former teaching assistant and currently, she is working as a research assistant at the SESC center at Nile University, conducting research in industrial wastewater treatment.

Achievements
  • She won second place in the international contest held by the Society of Petroleum Engineers with her graduation project.
  • She also won First place in a competition held during the second water day conference with the wastewater treatment project by using sugarcane bagasse pulp.
  • She was granted a full scholarship to conduct Masters's degree in water resources management.
  • She was awarded a scholarship to conduct research for one semester at Temple University - USA.
