Biography

Passant Badr obtained her B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in Biotechnology from Faculty of Science, Cairo University. She has 9 years of experience in research, mainly in the cancer field. Her work focused on the molecular diagnosis and prognosis of acute myeloid leukemia patients and measuring the risk assesment for their response to chemotherapy and disease relapse at National Cancer Institute. She further worked as Lab Devices Consultant at the Marketing Department of Eva Pharma to achieve 100% of General Medicine Unit plan. Moreover, she worked as Research Lab Manager at Omicsense. She was responsible for research projects and services from quotation to research data results.

At NU School of Biotechnology, Passant currently works as a Lab Supervisor. She is delighted to contribute her knowledge and skills to assist staff with laboratory facility organization and maintenance issues related to equipment utilization.
