Nada Adel is an instructor at the School of Biotechnology, Nile University, with over seven years of experience working at Zewail City of Science and Technology and Galala University. She received her B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in Microbiology from Mansoura University. Since her early career, she has participated in several research projects on phage therapy applications in the medical and food industries which resulted in several publications in scholarly journals. She has experience in various research fields, including microbiology, phage handling, molecular biology, cell culture, fermentation technology and bioreactor operation systems, cell culture, and microbial genomics. She further built her skills in the field of bioinformatics and enrolled at the DAAD-funded Bioinformatics and Computational Biology Diploma (BCB diploma) as part of the EG-CompBio project.
