Biography

Abdelrahman Mahran has received his first bachelor's degree (B.Sc) in Electrical and Communication Engineering, from the Faculty of Electrical and Communication Engineering, The British University in Egypt, El Sherouk City, Egypt, in 2021. At the same time, he finished his second bachelor's degree in engineering (B.Eng) with (First Class Honours) in Electrical and Communication Engineering, at London South Bank University, London, United Kingdom, in 2021. His graduation and research projects were about atomistic modelling of perovskites for indoor light harvesting applications and integrating smart bifacial semi-transparent solar cells in future electric vehicle technology respectively. In addition to receiving distinction grades in both of them, he has received an ITAC fund and his research project was from the top 10 researchers in his year. After graduation, he focused on the research field resulting in 6 publications (2 conferences and 4 journals) and one publication in the BUE 5th issue Nexus. Currently, he is working at Nile University as a teaching assistant and research assistant at the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences.
