On Saturday 18th Dec, NU welcomed the visit from the Scientific Committee for the Egyptian Genome Project to have their 14th meeting on NU premises. Prof. Sahar Fawzy and ITCS School hosted webinar session given by Dr. Mohamed Kamel that covered the topic “Electronic Pa-tient Records, Hospital Information Systems, and Medical Informatics”.

The visit was welcomed by Prof. Yasser Mostafa (EPRI Director). The visit included a round table discussion for both parties and a tour of EPRI labs & facilities. The visit took place as the first step toward having a mutual research collaboration between NU & EPRI. The visit from NU included: Prof. Ahmed Radwan, VP for Research, and Acting Dean of the School of Engineering & Applied Sciences

The project is a partnership between nile University & the Institute of Computer Science Friedrich-Schiller-University Jena, Germany. Co-funded by STDF & DAAD under the GEM SEED Call.
