NU Hosts the 14th Meeting of the Scientific Committee for the Egyptian Genome Project

On Saturday 18th Dec, NU welcomed the visit from the Scientific Committee for the Egyptian Genome Project to have their 14th meeting on NU premises. Chairing the meeting were: Prof. Yehia Gad (Chair, the Scientific Committee for the National genome project), and Prof. Khaled Amer (CEO, Egypt Center for Research & Generative Medicine (ECRRM) From NU, Prof. Wael Akl (President), Prof. Ahmed Hassan (Dean, ITCS), Prof. Ahmed Radwan (VP, Research), Prof. Mohamed ElHelw (Director, CIS) and Dr. Mohamed ElHadidi (Director, Bioinformatics Program & Genome project Committee Member) NU Leadership welcomed the visitors, and a token of appreciation was presented on behalf of NU by Prof. Wael Akl to both Prof. Yehia Gad & Prof. Khaled Amer for their work and continuous efforts in the field. After the meeting, the committee had a tour in UB2 to explore NU impactful areas; FACT center, Innovation HUB, Nilepreneurs & Research Centers.
