We are excited to announce that Ranaa Kamal has been accepted as a delegate to represent Egypt at the Regional Conference of Youth (RCOY) MENA 2024 in Jordan! RCOY MENA is a vital platform for young environmental leaders across the Middle East and North Africa, gathering to discuss pressing climate challenges, share innovative solutions, and contribute to global policy dialogues ahead of COP with the UN.

Despite the challenging events we have recently experienced, we are proud of brave students like Ranaa, who represented Egypt as delegates in Amman, working on policy writing and environmental clauses to advocate for at COP29 to achieve climate justice, environmental equity, and peace. In addition to her role as a delegate, Ranaa will also proudly represent the Greenish Club NU, a club she co-founded, which promotes environmental awareness and sustainability initiatives.
