Nile University Team Wins 2nd Place in Assistive Technologies Summer Program 2025!

We are proud to announce that our talented student team from the School of Information Technology and Computer Science (ITCS) has secured second place in the national competition of the Assistive Technologies Summer Program 2025, organized by the National Academy of Information Technology for Persons with Disabilities, under the leadership of Dr. Abdel Moneim El Sharkawy, and held under the patronage of Dr. Amr Talaat, Minister of Communications and Information Technology.
This prestigious eight-week program brought together 165 final-year students from nine Egyptian universities, competing across four specialized tracks:
  • Mechanical Design
  • Biomedical Engineering
  • Extended Reality
  • Computer Vision
Nile University’s recognition highlights the innovation, creativity, and dedication of our students, who continue to develop impactful solutions that empower persons with disabilities and advance assistive technologies in Egypt.
