Nile University Delegation Visits Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research
A delegation from Nile University, led by Dr. Mahmoud Mohieldin, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, visited Prof. Dr. Abdelaziz Konsowa, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, at his office to congratulate him on assuming his new position and to discuss the university’s latest developments and future plans in education and research.
During the visit, Dr. Mahmoud Mohieldin expressed his sincere congratulations to the Minister, wishing him success in leading Egypt’s higher education and scientific research system during the coming period.
The Nile University delegation included Dr. Essam Roshdy, Acting President of Nile University; Dr. Amr Safwat, Vice President for Academic Affairs; and Eng. Osama Zayed, Secretary General of the University.
Dr. Mohieldin also conveyed the university’s aspirations to see further progress and advancement in Egypt’s higher education and scientific research sectors under the Minister’s leadership, highlighting the value of his distinguished academic and research experience at Alexandria University, as well as his executive experience in Alexandria Governorate.
During the meeting, Nile University officials presented an overview of the university’s journey and development over the past years, highlighting its achievements in education, scientific research, training, and innovation. They also emphasized the university’s role in preparing highly qualified graduates capable of meeting the evolving demands of both local and international labor markets.
The discussion also addressed the university’s future plans, including academic expansion and the launch of new colleges and programs, as part of Nile University’s strategy to enhance its educational and research impact. In addition, the delegation highlighted the university’s academic and research collaborations with a number of prestigious institutions and universities through its existing colleges and upcoming academic initiatives.
For his part, Prof. Dr. Abdelaziz Konsowa expressed his appreciation for the visit and the delegation’s congratulations, commending Nile University’s role in advancing education and scientific research in Egypt.
