Job Summary:

The Digital Editor Associate is responsible for transforming IECC’s programs, events, success stories, research outputs, startup achievements, partnerships, and ecosystem activities into engaging digital content that increases visibility, strengthens the IECC brand, and supports organizational growth. The role bridges content creation, SEO optimization, website content management, and knowledge documentation to ensure that IECC’s impact is effectively communicated across digital platforms and accessible to entrepreneurs, startups, students, researchers, industry partners, donors, and ecosystem stakeholders.

 Job Responsibilities:

  • Organize and structure website content for better navigation and user experience.
  • Write, edit, proofread, and optimize content for the IECC website, blogs, newsletters, landing pages, reports, and digital campaigns. • Ensure consistency of messaging, tone of voice, and brand standards across all digital platforms.
  • Transform technical, entrepreneurial, research, and innovation-related content into clear and engaging narratives.
  • Develop success stories, startup spotlights, impact stories, case studies, and partnership highlights.
  • Review and enhance content quality, readability, accuracy, and structure before publication.
  • Manage and continuously update website content to ensure accuracy, relevance, and alignment with IECC initiatives.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to collect, organize, and publish program information, achievements, opportunities, and announcements. • Support the creation and optimization of landing pages for programs, events, and strategic initiatives.
  • Ensure website content reflects IECC’s positioning, priorities, and audience needs.
  • Conduct keyword research and identify opportunities to improve organic visibility.
  • Apply SEO best practices including content structuring, metadata optimization, internal linking, and keyword placement.
  • Optimize existing content to improve search engine rankings and user engagement.
  • Capture and document outcomes, achievements, lessons learned, and impact generated by IECC programs and projects.
  • Build a repository of content assets, stories, testimonials, and success cases.
  • Collaborate with program teams to identify impactful stories and translate them into publishable content.
  • Support the development of annual reports, impact reports, and institutional publications.
  • Support marketing campaigns through the development of website and long-form content.
  • Coordinate with the Marketing, Community Development, Venture Design, Impact, and Startup Programs teams to gather content requirements. • Support content coverage for events, workshops, competitions, and ecosystem activities.
  • Contribute to thought leadership content that highlights IECC expertise and achievements.
  • Utilize web analytics and content performance tools to monitor engagement and user behavior.
  • Track content performance, organic traffic, and SEO indicators.
  • Generate content performance reports and recommendations for improvement.
  • Identify content gaps, user friction points, and opportunities for optimization.

 Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Journalism, Mass Communication, English, Communications, Media Studies, or a related field.
  • 1-2 year of experience at least as a Digital Editor, Content Writer, SEO Copywriter, Communications Associate, or similar role. - Experience in student activities, entrepreneurship clubs, startups, accelerators, incubators, or digital media projects is a plus
  • Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
  • Experience with Content Management Systems (CMS) such as WordPress or similar platforms.
  • Familiarity with Google Analytics, Search Console, and SEO tools.
  • Ability to conduct keyword research and content performance analysis.
  • Strong research and information synthesis skills.
  • Proactive problem-solving attitude
  • Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
  • Ability to utilize AI tools for content creation, optimization, and productivity.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and collaborate cross-functionally in fast-paced environments.
  • Very good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
