Biography

He is a research assistant in the Medical Imaging and Image Processing research group (MIIP) at the Center for Informatics Science (CIS). He is also an informatics master's student at the School of Information Technology and Computer Science (ITCS). He had his bachelor's degree in pharmacy from the British University in Egypt (BUE). He worked on a few research problems; namely, skin lesion segmentation and classification, cell segmentation in histology imaging and survival analysis for cancer patients. His research interests include interpretable deep learning for medical imaging and real-time medical image segmentation.
