Eagles is a club whose mission is to foster a creative and collaborative community of aviation enthusiasts within the university, where members can learn, design, and innovate aircraft and drone technologies, enhancing their technical skills and promoting a passion for aerospace engineering. And the vision is empowering future aerospace leaders through creativity, collaboration, and innovation.
The Eagles Club at Nile University has consistently demonstrated excellence, innovation, and dedication, earning recognition both nationally and internationally. Here are some of our most recent and proudest achievements:
1. International Exhibition of Innovations (IEI) 2024 – 19th August 2024
The Eagles Club secured first place at the prestigious International Exhibition of Innovations (IEI) 2024, standing out among 57 participating universities worldwide. Advancing through multiple competitive stages, the team ultimately triumphed in the final round against the top 8 projects globally. This victory shows the club’s ingenuity and determination.
2. 18th Undergraduate Research Forum (UGRF) – 18th August 2024
Our Eagles Club achieved another significant milestone, securing first place in the Engineering and Applied Sciences Track at the 18th UGRF. Competing against a multitude of projects from leading institutions, the club's research innovation stood out, earning top honors. This accomplishment underscores the students' dedication to advancing academic and scientific excellence.
3. 8th International Competition of the Military Technical College (ICMTC 2024): UAV Challenge – 28th July 2024
In its debut at the Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Challenge (UAVC-7), the Eagles Club made an unforgettable impression. The team introduced a cutting-edge VTOL (Vertical Take-Off and Landing) UAV, the only one of its kind in the competition. The UAV achieved five flawless takeoffs and landings, completed a 10-minute stable flight, and succeeded in delivering its payload with precision. While many competitors faced difficulties, the Eagles Club’s UAV excelled without a single crash, showcasing exceptional reliability and solidifying the team’s reputation as an emerging leader in UAV innovation.
