Eighth and Final Week of Gig Skill Boost

The Gig Skill Boost Program by Nile University and Banque Misr Foundation officially reached its last week. During this final phase, participants focused on refining their projects to ensure they remained ready to re-enter the labor market with strong, portfolio-ready outcomes.

Each track concentrated on preparing a complete and professional final deliverable:

  • Front-End Development: Arrange the code and modify the final designs, so that the website looks professional and useful and descends into the portfolio

  • Business Development & Sales: Understand more about how sales works with the rest of the teams, and work on simple growth ideas and plans that they can implement in a real business

  • Customer Success: Discover how AI and automation can help customers follow up and solve their problems, and why this role remains important in any company.

  • Mobile Development: Work on the app to keep it light, clear, and useful as a ready-made project

  • UI/UX: Adjust user flows and small details and prepare final screens that tell the story of a complete project that works in an interview or portfolio.

  • Digital Marketing & social media: Make a media plan simple with budgeting and understand how to distribute the budget to campaigns to get the best result at the lowest cost.

By the end of the eighth week, each of them had a real project, and Skills was able to start a serious step towards work or freelancing. If you’re on a similar journey, stay tuned for the next batch of Gig Skill Boost.
