Celebrating Excellence: Nile University Students Redefine Brand Strategy with Dabur Egypt Ltd
We are extremely proud to highlight the exceptional talent and creative problem-solving capabilities of our Brand Management students at the School of Business Administration, Nile University.
The spring semester ended in a remarkable showcase where students presented comprehensive brand revitalization strategies for Vatika to executives at Dabur Egypt Ltd., including Ms. Nehal Adly (Deputy Marketing Manager) and Ms. Doaa Abdulrahman (Talent Acquisition and Employer Brand Manager).
We were honored by the presence of Dr. Sherine Al Shawarby, Vice Dean and Undergraduate Program Director at the School of Business Administration, Nile University, whose support reflects our commitment to integrating academic excellence with real-world relevance.
Special recognition goes to our top three teams, who developed full-scale strategies to reposition Vatika and target a new market segment. Their work exemplified academic rigor applied to real-world challenges:
Strategic Depth: From auditing the brand’s current positioning, touchpoints, and promise to conducting thorough market research.
Innovative Vision: Formulating a new strategy anchored in brand purpose (Golden Circle), value proposition, and segment-specific positioning.
Execution Excellence: Designing detailed launch plans with key milestones, supported by initiatives like micro-influencer collaborations, content marketing, user-generated content campaigns, and on-ground activations to reignite Vatika’s market presence.
This project is part of the Brand Management course led by Dr. Noha Alaa and TA Neveen Badr and demonstrates how confronting authentic market challenges profoundly enriches our students’ academic journey. The experience bridges theory and practice, cultivating strategic thinkers ready to make an immediate impact.
We extend our deepest gratitude to Dabur Egypt Ltd. for their invaluable partnership. Their willingness to share this real business challenge and provide expert feedback throughout the process was instrumental in shaping this transformative learning experience.
