"Urban Sketching: The Art of Capturing Vital Moments" Lecture by Eslam Malak

ARUD program has the great pleasure to host Architect Eslam Malak in a lecture titled "Urban Sketching: The Art of Capturing Vital Moments".

The lecture will be held by Architecture and Urban Design Program (ARUD) at Nile University. This lecture gives inspirations and different insights with professional visuals, techniques, and representation of urban sketching.

Eslam Malak is an architect at Schaduf, with a growing interest in urban nature-based solutions to elevate the quality of life through environmental and social change. He graduated with a bachelor’s degree in architecture from Port Said University. Eslam has over five years of experience covering a wide range of fields including architecture, urban design, and urban upgrading. Eslam is an urban sketcher exploring many different areas including Historic Cairo, Port Saeed, Al Quseir, and Esna. He has sketched along many initiatives and institutions including Cairo Urban Sketchers, the Goethe-Institut, and Turathna. Eslam has given multiple lectures on urban sketching at universities including Port Said University, Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport (AAST), and Nile University (NU).
