Storekeeper
Job Description
- Track and record all product inventory to ensure accuracy and prevent discrepancies or losses.
- Receive deliveries of goods and materials and ensure they are stored properly in the designated warehouse locations.
- Monitor stock levels and track orders, initiating restocking of supplies when necessary.
- Receive and process supply requests from all departments in a timely and accurate manner.
- Inspect all incoming and outgoing shipments to verify quantities and check for damages, defects, or missing items.
- Report any damaged or defective products and coordinate their return to suppliers when required.
- Operate warehouse equipment and machinery used for transporting large or heavy items safely and efficiently.
- Utilize the ERP system to record, monitor, and track inventory movements and transactions.
- Ensure all items are properly labeled and stored in accordance with warehouse standards and safety requirements.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized warehouse environment.
- Prepare periodic reports on inventory status, stock movement, and departmental usage.
- Address and resolve any technical or administrative issues related to shipping and receiving processes.
- Coordinate with the Assets Unit regarding warehouse operations and related requirements to ensure smooth workflow.
- Perform any additional duties assigned by management that fall within the scope and nature of the role.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in any relevant field
- ERP systems Proficiency (Preferably Microsoft Dynamics)
- Full Awareness with Warehouse safety Precautions.
- Excellent Communication skills and Time Management Skills.
- 2-4 years of relevant experience.
