Job Summary:

Nile University is seeking a creative and motivated Junior Photographer to join the Marketing & Communications team. The successful candidate will support the production of high-quality visual content for digital marketing campaigns, social media, events, student recruitment, and university communications. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate photographer to develop technical and creative skills in a dynamic, fast-paced environment

Job Responsibilities:

Photography & Content Creation

Capture high-quality photographs for university events, campaigns, academic activities, student life, and marketing materials.
Assist in studio and on-location photo shoots, including setup of lighting, backgrounds, props, and equipment.
Ensure consistent image quality, composition, and brand standards across all visual content.

Studio & Equipment Management

Prepare and organize photography equipment before and after shoots.
Operate and maintain cameras, lenses, lighting equipment, and accessories.
Ensure equipment is handled safely and remains in good working condition.

Image Editing & Post-Production

Edit, retouch, and color-correct photographs using Adobe Lightroom and Adobe Photoshop.
Export images in appropriate formats for print, web, and social media.
Maintain an organized archive of digital assets and ensure proper file naming and backup procedures.

Creative Support

Support the creative team in producing visual assets for marketing campaigns.
Assist with basic videography and multimedia production when required.
Collaborate with designers, videographers, and content creators to deliver engaging visual content.
Willingness to learn and continuously develop technical and creative abilities.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Photography, Media, Mass Communication, Fine Arts, or a related field (Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply).
0-2 years of experience in Photography
Experience covering events, portraits, or product photography.
Knowledge of social media visual trends and digital content creation.
Experience working in a marketing, creative agency, or educational environment is a plus.
Good understanding of manual camera settings (ISO, Aperture, Shutter Speed, White Balance).
Knowledge of studio and natural lighting techniques
Proficiency in Adobe Lightroom and Adobe Photoshop.
Familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud.
