The School of Information Technology and Computer Science at Nile University invites applications for faculty positions at the rank of Assistant Professor / Associate Professor / Full Professor in the Computer Science field. The school seeks academically qualified and professionally engaged scholars who demonstrate excellence in teaching and research.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Computer Science in line with approved curricula and learning outcomes.
• Develop, review, and continuously improve course syllabi, teaching materials, assessment methods, and learning activities.
• Supervise undergraduate graduation projects and postgraduate theses and dissertations and participate in examination and Défense committees.
• Conduct high-quality scholarly research and publish in reputable, peer-reviewed international journals.
• Contribute to assurance of learning, accreditation, and quality assurance processes.
• Participate actively in curriculum development, program review, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Engage in academic advising and mentoring to support student success and professional development.
• Collaborate with colleagues on interdisciplinary teaching, research, and community engagement initiatives.
• Participate in academic, administrative, and professional service activities at the School, University, and community levels.
• Maintain an active professional profile through industry engagement, consultancy, executive education, or professional associations, where applicable.

Requirements

• Ph.D. in Computer Science/Computer Engineering, or a closely related discipline from an accredited institution.
• Appointment at the rank of Assistant Professor / Associate Professor / Full Professor.
• Demonstrated excellence in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and student supervision.
• Strong and sustained record of scholarly publications in reputable peer-reviewed journals.
• Evidence of contribution to academic service, quality assurance, and accreditation activities.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
