The School of Information Technology and Computer Science at Nile University invites applications for faculty positions at the rank of Assistant Professor / Associate Professor / Full Professor in the Artificial Intelligence field. The school seeks academically qualified and professionally engaged scholars who demonstrate excellence in teaching and research.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Artificial Intelligence in line with approved curricula and learning outcomes.
- Develop, review, and continuously improve course syllabi, teaching materials, assessment methods, and learning activities.
- Supervise undergraduate graduation projects and postgraduate theses and dissertations and participate in examination and Défense committees.
- Conduct high-quality scholarly research and publish in reputable, peer-reviewed international journals.
- Contribute to assurance of learning, accreditation, and quality assurance processes.
- Participate actively in curriculum development, program review, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Engage in academic advising and mentoring to support student success and professional development.
- Collaborate with colleagues on interdisciplinary teaching, research, and community engagement initiatives.
- Participate in academic, administrative, and professional service activities at the School, University, and community levels.
- Maintain an active professional profile through industry engagement, consultancy, executive education, or professional associations, where applicable.
Requirements
- Ph.D. in Computer Science/Computer Engineering, or a closely related discipline from an accredited institution.
- Appointment at the rank of Assistant Professor / Associate Professor / Full Professor.
- Demonstrated excellence in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and student supervision.
- Strong and sustained record of scholarly publications in reputable peer-reviewed journals.
- Evidence of contribution to academic service, quality assurance, and accreditation activities.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
