Accounting Supervisor
Job Summary
An Accounting Supervisor manages daily accounting operations, leads junior staff, ensures financial accuracy and compliance, prepares reports (budgets, forecasts, financial statements), oversees month/year-end closing, and supports audits by handling tasks like bank reconciliations, A/P, A/R, and payroll and bridging daily tasks with strategic financial goals.
Job Description
- Review and reconcile daily cash deposit logs
- Prepare and distribute daily cash activity reports
- Monitor petty cash and accounts receivable (A/R)
- Maintain general ledger and ensure accurate financial recording
- Prepare financial reports including budgets and forecasts
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations
- Maintain balance sheet schedules
- Prepare tax reports (Income Tax, VAT, etc.)
- Support audits and ensure compliance
- Review accounting entries and year-end adjustments
- Supervise monthly closing activities
- Maintain fixed asset register and calculate depreciation
- Conduct periodic inventory checks
- Review payment vouchers and cheques
- Maintain records of important documents
- Follow up on cash flow projections
- Perform tasks assigned by Finance Director
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field.
- 8-10 years of experience including 3 years in a similar position.
- Very good command of English Language.
- Very good command of: Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP system, Student software Power campus and MS. Office Applications, especially Word, Excel & Power Point)
- Knowledge of administrative and data management procedures.
- Good problem analysis, assessment and communication skills.
- Problem solving and decision-making skills.
- Excellent planning, organizing time and work management.
