Yomna Youssef is a full-time teaching assistant at Nile University. She holds a bachelor's in agricultural science, from the Biotechnology department, at Cairo University. She got molecular training in microbial ecology at Leibniz Institute of Vegetable and Ornamental Crops ( IGZ), Grossbeeren, Germany. She worked as a research assistant in molecular and microbiology laboratories for more than 6 years. Currently, she is about to finish her master's degree in microbiology field at the Faculty of Agriculture, Cairo University. During her research journey, she built her skills in the field of bioinformatics by studying programming languages like R, Python and Bash through courses at Nile University and Children’s Cancer Hospital Egypt 57357. She has also enrolled in the Professional diploma in bioinformatics and computational biology, EgCompBio project, DAAD- funded.
