Yomna is a researcher at Nile University in the Smart Engineering Systems Center (SESC). Her research project revolves around lower prosthetics. She had a good experience in the field of prosthetics through my graduation project, which was a muscle-controlled bionic arm using machine learning algorithms. We got the "Best Prototype" in the Egypt-IOT challenge among more than 150 graduate projects. She believes in the importance of directing scientific research to add value through products that may change people's lives for the better, so she works with a team from different countries to develop prosthetic products. She has a bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics Engineering- Ain Shams University. Currently, she is a Master’s degree student in the same field. She also has experience in mechanical design, embedded systems, programming, electronics, image processing, and control through the projects she has done.
- Design improvement and control of hybrid Active-Passive bionic prosthetic knee for amputees.
- Lower limbs prosthesis.
