Professor Hayam Wahba brings a distinguished academic and leadership profile in higher education and institutional governance. With over three decades of experience in higher education, she has held senior academic leadership roles at Ain Shams University’s Faculty of Business, serving as Vice Dean for nearly 7 years and currently as chair of the Ain Shams University Permanent Committee for Postgraduate Studies.
Throughout her career, Professor Wahba has combined academic scholarship in corporate finance, capital markets, and governance with active engagement in national higher education policy and academic standards. She serves on the Supreme Council of Universities’ Permanent Promotions Committee and the Foreign Degree Equivalency Committee. She is a certified reviewer for the National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Education (NAQAAE). Through these roles, she contributes to the development of promotion frameworks, degree recognition processes, and quality assurance standards that strengthen academic governance at the national level.
Her research has been widely published in reputable international academic journals, advancing knowledge in finance and governance. She was the Founder and Executive Editor of the Future Business Journal.
