Ahmed Nader Mohieldin received his B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in Electronics and Electrical Communications Engineering from Cairo University, Egypt, in 1996 and 1998, respectively, and earned his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Texas A&M University, USA, in 2003. From 2003 to 2008, he worked as a Senior Analog Design Engineer with Texas Instruments Inc., contributing to the RFIC Design Group. Between 2008 and 2013, he served as Technical Design Manager at SysDsoft Inc. and Intel Mobile Communications, leading advanced analog and RF design projects. Dr. Mohieldin joined Cairo University in 2008, where he advanced through academic ranks from Assistant Professor to Professor in the Electronics and Communications Engineering Department (EECE). From 2021 to 2025, he served as Professor and Program Director of the Electrical Engineering Department at Galala University, and later as Acting Dean of the Faculty of Engineering from 2025 to 2026. He is the author of one book, has published over 100 papers in internationally recognized journals and conferences, and holds four U.S. patents and one Egyptian patent. He has supervised more than 40 graduate students in analog and RF IC design. Dr. Mohieldin has been an IEEE Senior Member since 2009. He also serves as a reviewer for several prestigious international journals and conferences. Beyond his academic and industrial roles, Dr. Mohieldin has built a distinguished research group at Cairo University in analog & mixed-signal circuit design and led multiple funded projects addressing challenges such as renewable energy harvesting. His work has also extended to mentoring undergraduate students by integrating research outcomes into graduation projects, thereby strengthening practical skills and nurturing the next generation of researchers. His achievements include the Cairo University Award of Scientific Excellence in Engineering Sciences (2019), the Best Paper Award at the International Conference on Microelectronics (ICM), Jordan (2020), and the Best Presentation Award at ICM, Lebanon (2017). He was also listed in Who’s Who in Science & Engineering (10th edition, 2008).
