Nile University was honored to attend Banque Misr celebration last Tuesday, 30th of July 2019 recognizing graduates of Nile University Students sponsored by the bank’s scholarship hosted by Mr. Mohamed Eletriby, Chairman of Banque Misr, Mr. Akef ElMaghraby, Vice Chairman at Banque Misr, Ms. Fatma El Goely, Corporate Communications, Ms. Hanaa El Bouriny, Manager, & Ms. Heba Hussein, Program Manager of Banque Misr Foundation; and attended by Dr. Tarek Khalil, President of Nile University, Mrs. Ingy Magdy, Partnerships & Development Manager, and Ms. Yasmin Kadry, Corporate Relations Specialist at Nile University.
The celebration honored the 8 Nile University graduates of Summer 2019 Semester who were enrolled in Banque Misr scholarship program for the past years. NU graduates presented highlights of their achievements in their academic years and the positive impact they enjoyed through their enrollment in Banque Misr Scholarship program. NU graduates were able to attend a tour at the Museum at Banque Misr to learn more about the history of the bank and about the pioneer economist and financial expert ‘Mohamed Talaat Harb Pasha’, who headed the concept of investing in national savings and directing them towards economic and social development. Banque Misr was established as the first wholly Egyptian – owned bank.
