“As part of the efforts of Nile University to raise the quality of higher education and scientific research in Egypt, the Center for Informatics Science in the University is signing an agreement with one of the corresponding centers at Tartu University in Estonia, which is one of the leading international and European universities in these disciplines. This agreement represents a qualitative leap in the scientific relations between the two countries. It is a culmination of the scientific and research cooperation between the two universities, in which members of the teaching staff of the Estonian University have taught some master’s degree courses in the field of large data and informatics. Masters through faculty members of the two universities.”
Given the current areas of specialization and expertise at the Parties, the core objectives to be achieved under the terms of this MOU (where appropriate):
- Joint research of common interest in the general fields of Informatics methods in the domains of big data and data
- Exchange of undergraduate/postgraduate students, faculty members and research staff for research, education and knowledge sharing purposes.
- Joint application for funding/grants from both local, European, and international funding agencies/bodies.
