Nile University celebrated on June 26th the graduation of its first class of undergraduate students and its sixth class of Masters Degree candidates.
This ceremony marked the first event to be held on its Main campus in Sheikh Zayed since its return to it and since its establishment as the first national, independent, non-governmental and non-profit (Ahleya) university.
Prime Minister Eng. Ibrahim Mehleb shared Nile University’s celebration and delivered the commencement speech during which he emphasized the importance of the participation of youth in the advancement of the nation and his positive outlook about the future of the nation in light of the capabilities of young men and women who are taking their role today in driving Egypt forward.
The event was held in the presence of Dr. Sayed Abdel Khalek, Minister of Higher Education, , Eng. Atef Helmy, Minister of Communication and Information Technology, Dr. Sherif Hammad , Minister of Scientific Research and Dr. Mary Ott, USAID's mission Director in Egypt who has also addressed the audience regarding the support of the USAID to entrepreneurship and development initiatives in Egypt and its collaboration with Nile University in that regard.
